The Working Process
I get excited about making paintings outdoors. Rural, urban or industrial. Anywhere in fact.
I'll have a crack at most subject matter. All shapes and sizes too. Its a bit like a treasure hunt. You have to sniff out the prize that winks 'inspiration' That's not always easy.
Invariably it arrives in the form of a surge of adrenalin or a tingle in the spine. Then there are the distractions, the pathalogically curious, not to mention the weather.
In the end though its about everything coming together: thoughts, feelings, technique and then trying to get back home in one piece.
